60 Minute Gong Bath Meditation - Blackheath - Oct, Nov & Dec
Grounding Gong Bath Meditation
In this Gong Bath Meditation, you’ll relax comfortably with your eyes closed as the soothing tones of the gongs guide you on a transcendental journey. The healing vibrations of the gong will resonate with your body, promoting deep relaxation and renewal. As the sound washes over you, you'll feel a sense of calm and balance, leaving you refreshed in mind, body, and spirit.
Let the sound carry you to a state of profound peace and restoration.
The experience is called a "bath" not because it involves water, but because the sound waves wash over and envelop you. The frequencies produced by gongs have a therapeutic effect on the body and mind, helping to reduce stress, promote relaxation, and potentially aid in emotional or physical healing.
Gong baths can be transformative for some, as the vibrations may help release blockages, balance energy, and encourage a meditative or altered state of consciousness.
For those interested, the gong I use for these sessions is a Paiste 34" Symphonic gong. It has a very clean and meditative sound, with rich, beautiful harmonics that expand over the deep fundamental tone.
